BEFORE YOU COMMIT
Good decisions start
with better questions.
A practical checklist for comparing a LinkedIn profile and the agreement behind it. Keep the answers next to your shortlist.

01 / Profile fit
Does the profile match the brief?
Record the professional background, region, language and audience information that matters to your work. Separate confirmed details from assumptions.
What does the network tell you?
Compare connection count with relevance. A large network alone says little about the fit for your specific project.
What is actually verified?
Ask which facts a verification badge covers. Distinguish an identity check from provider verification, account history and subscription status.
02 / Price and agreement
| Ask | Record |
|---|---|
| What is the billing period? | Rate, currency, renewal date and minimum duration. |
| What is included? | Account access, any subscription, setup and the exact support scope. |
| What is extra? | Browser, hosting, third-party tools and optional services. |
| How do I stop? | Cancellation process, notice period and when charges end. |
| What if access changes? | Support contact, replacement conditions and refund terms. |
03 / Access and responsibility
Confirm the required browser and access method before paying. Identify who will handle verification requests and interruptions. Keep rental records and sensitive access information in the appropriate workspace; a shared planning spreadsheet should not become a password store.
Ask who may use the account under the provider agreement, what changes are permitted and how the provider wants issues reported. Then compare those terms with LinkedIn’s own policies: provider permission does not override platform restrictions.
04 / Your team’s handover
Assign a rental owner
Name the person who tracks renewal dates, provider replies and any change to the rental. Document a backup when they are away.
Agree on an issue process
Record the listing reference, what changed and when, and the next agreed action. Keep the context together so the issue can be reviewed.
Plan the end before the start
Document when access should end and how information will be handled. Review this whenever a client engagement or team responsibility changes.
Decide only after the unknowns are visible.
Mark each requirement as confirmed, needs clarification or not offered. Do not turn an unanswered question into a presumed inclusion. Compare providers using the same checklist, then make the decision based on the actual fit and agreement.
If you need 100+ accounts and a separate dashboard, send the same requirements to AllProfiles Enterprise. Add your team structure and the daily workflow the dashboard must support.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Good questions.
Straight answers.
Can I reuse this checklist for several providers?
Yes. Download the plain-text version and keep one completed copy for each offer. Recording answers consistently makes the differences easier to evaluate.
Does completing the checklist make rental risk-free?
No. It helps you understand the offer and responsibilities. It does not change LinkedIn’s rules or guarantee account availability or results.
